- 30 minutes a day with your tutor, on the free plan
- Remembers where you left off and what you've told your tutor about yourself
- Certificate included anyone can check it online
How it works
- Your tutor introduces an idea, a piece at a time, then hands you one small puzzle about it, sometimes drawn from a conversation you tell your tutor about.
- You think it through, out loud or by typing. You don't need to know the answer: your tutor helps you along and tells you when you're close.
- Step by step, it adds up. Your tutor remembers your past sessions and what you've shared, and picks up where you left off.
What you'll understand
- How feelings steer your decisions, often before you notice
- How to listen so the other person feels understood
- How to say what you need clearly, and set a boundary with kindness
- How a disagreement heats up, and how to cool it down and repair it
- What emotional intelligence looks like in someone who leads a team
You don't need to know anything first. Emotional intelligence is part of Practical Psychology, Epivo's course on how people think, feel and get along. See the full course →
Hear how a lesson on listening starts
Let's start with listening. It sounds easy, and it's one of the hardest things we do. Think of someone who really listens to you. So here's my first question for you. What do they do that most people don't? Tell me what you think, and we'll see where it leads.

Questions
Is it really free?
Yes. Thirty minutes a day with your tutor, and no card. Paid plans add more time if you ever want it.
Is my tutor a real person?
No. Your tutor is an AI that talks with you, follows a planned course and remembers your past sessions.
How do I know the lessons are accurate?
Before written lesson material reaches you, an AI checks its key facts against independent published sources, and a second AI re-checks anything flagged. Your tutor is instructed to teach from that material and to tell you when unsure: an instruction, not a guarantee. And you can check for yourself: tap Sources in the lesson menu and pick a session to see what it drew on, including links to the original sources.
How is this different from asking ChatGPT?
ChatGPT answers what you ask. Your tutor leads the way: a planned route through practical psychology, one question at a time, picking up where you left off.
Can I start with listening and empathy?
Yes. When you start, tell your tutor you want Practical Psychology, then ask for listening and empathy, and your tutor can take you there. If you don't ask, you begin with how people really make decisions, which is often not the way logic says they should.
Can I use it with people in my own life?
Yes. The lessons on listening and conflict are built around practice: you try ideas like reflecting back what someone said, or naming a problem without blame, on conversations from your own week. Mention your work or the people you deal with, and your tutor remembers it and brings it back in later lessons.
Is it on iPhone?
Not yet. Epivo runs on Android today. Open this page on an iPhone and you can leave your email; we'll tell you when the iPhone app is ready.
