Refund Policy

Last updated: August 2026

This policy explains when you can get your money back for an Epivo subscription, and how to ask for it. It applies to subscriptions bought from Swedish General Consulting AB, org. nr 556071-0229, Box 647, 114 11 Stockholm, Sweden. It sits alongside our Terms of Service, which govern the subscription itself.

1. The short version

If you change your mind within 14 days of subscribing, you get a full refund — no reason needed. After that, you can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the month you have already paid for, but that month is not refunded.

2. Your 14-day right of withdrawal

As a consumer in the EU or EEA you have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days, under the EU Consumer Rights Directive (2011/83/EU) and, in Sweden, the Distance Contracts Act (distansavtalslagen, 2005:59). The period runs from the day the contract is concluded — that is, the day your subscription starts.

Within those 14 days we will refund your subscription in full, whether or not you have used the service, and you do not need to give us a reason. You can tell us by any clear statement — email is fine.

One thing to be aware of: if you ask us to begin the service immediately and it is then fully performed within the 14 days, the statutory right can lapse. In practice we do not rely on this. If you are inside your first 14 days and you ask for your money back, you get it back.

3. After the first 14 days

Epivo subscriptions are billed monthly. If you cancel after the first 14 days:

  • Your cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for.
  • You keep full access until then — your learner does not lose their courses or progress mid-month.
  • We do not refund the remaining part of the current month, and you are not charged again.

We do not currently offer annual subscriptions, so there is no multi-month refund to pro-rate.

4. The free plan

The free plan costs nothing, so there is nothing to refund. You can stop using it at any time, and you can delete your account and data from your account settings.

5. If something went wrong

The 14-day window is a floor, not a ceiling. If the service did not work, was unavailable, or was not what we described, tell us — your rights under consumer law to a remedy are unaffected by anything in this policy, and we would rather fix it or refund you than argue about the date.

6. How to request a refund

Email [email protected] from the address on your account, and tell us you want a refund. You do not need a form or a specific wording.

We refund to the original payment method. Once we approve a refund it is normally processed within 5–10 business days, though how quickly it appears depends on your bank or card issuer. Refunds are made in the currency you paid in.

7. Prices and VAT

Prices shown in Swedish kronor and euro include VAT. A refund returns the full amount you were charged, VAT included.

8. Chargebacks and disputes

If you dispute a charge with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us, the outcome is decided by your payment provider's process rather than by this policy. We will normally suspend the subscription while a dispute is open. Talking to us first is usually faster.

9. Complaints

If you are not happy with how we handle a refund, you can take it to the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (Allmänna reklamationsnämnden, ARN) at www.arn.se, whose decisions we follow. Consumers resident elsewhere in the EU may also use their national equivalent.

10. Contact

Questions about this policy: [email protected].
